I've had the same Titleist driver for over a decade and I love it, but I know I'm losing distance by not playing some new technology.

And my dad said he'd get me one for Christmas

So, what are the best out there right now? I have high swing speed, high ball flight, and usually play a slight draw (or hook ). I have heard endless things about how great Taylormade is right now, but what else is there?

And where (in Nashville) should I go get fitted for one?

I haven't been this excited in a while about Christmas

OP don’t worry about Bagman’s newest alter

Taylormade is making some cool stuff. However, there is nothing like a new Titleist.

I actually disagree. The 917 was not my favorite club. Hottest names in golf for the last two years are the taylormade M series and the GBB Epic. The mizuno driver has also received some decent love. I would advice getting fitted. Atleast go hit some and see what feels good and looka good. I moved from a titleist to an M2, and I haven't looked back.

Get fitted. I played Taylormade for years and ended up in the Epic SZ

I’m not a huge fan of the 917. 913 for life.

I’ve got a buddy with the Epic and he hates it. He wishes he would’ve bought the Ping G400

I’m very happy with my epic. It’s the least of my problems.

You should definitely go get fitted for the right shaft. That makes the biggest difference. Then you can get whichever driver you think looks best with that shaft since all heads are pretty much the same in performance

He wasn’t talking about you, my 917 is short but straight as a mofo except 4 at Snatch, PID nerds

Didn’t think he was. Wanted to say that I liked mine and should have added most of that has to do with the shaft and not having a big white line across the top. Took a lot of testing and range/indoor sessions to get it right.

OP, hit them all. This driver will most likely last you a while as tech isnt really changing all that much anymore. I swing the Ping G400 because I actually saw improved swing speed numbers with it. But give them all a shot.

The only one I'd be hesitant with is the new Cobra. If you're a high launch guy, your miss will really spin with the new all milled faces IMO.

You don't need to hit anything. Just get an M2.
