$103 after tax. Good lawd lol. I mean the greens were good, but damn… the fact that you could play Beaver Creek twice for the same price is nuts.

Played a fee courses and TN in last several
Weeks. All were better condition and cheaper than courses here in Baton Rouge.
I guess we just aren’t a great town for golf. Sucks.

True but there isn't a line on my property tax bill that says Carter Plantation like there is BREC.

I agree... BR golf is very underwhelming overall. I would say we are 1 golf course short of meeting the demand. This is including the LSU course which shouldn't be counted because it is trash.

I think he meant it wasn’t nice enough to warrant charging $103 per round

Yeah, now that I'm sober my response didn't make sense. I was pretty much drunk texting

Beaver is in great shape and is around $50 on weekends. Played the Island this weekend and was around $55-$60 and also in very good shape. Santa Maria is in good shape but just gets a lot of play. Webb is what it is. You can also play Pelican Point, Graystone and Copper Mill. And me and the boy have played Clark and City Park lately and they are fun tracks for what they are. Plenty of options around here.

Probably the nicest public course around BR.

Pelican is great that's why I joined.. Greystone even though I play it a lot is infuriating..

Love Webble.. and Santa Maria is fine just wish it was back to it OG form for the price

Played The Island for the first time today and it was a lot of fun and in great shape! It was wet in certain areas obviously, but overall a really fun track and in pretty good shape, aside from a few spots on certain greens. $71 for 18 holes on a Sunday

Holy hell. It used to be around $70. There’s no way they can sustain that price.

They are packed out to the gills still with that price.

The Island has come a long way since July when the greens died from irrigation failure

BR has some of the worst public golf in the country for a city it’s size imo

Well, Louisiana is the worst state in the country for golf so that makes sense. We might beat Alaska, but that’s it.

I've played the LSU course a couple of times recently with my grandson. I can't understand how a course on the campus of an agriculture school can be in such bad shape.
