Depends on how often you play. If you play a lot once a year. I do it by feel of the grip but usually once a year.

About every two years. Currently playing midsize z cords. I really like them.

I regripped today. My old set were Lamkin cross lines. They are terrible for the humidity. Maybe their chords are better. They were less than a year old on some clubs.

I put on the golf pride CPx this morning. I really liked them!

My standard reply has always been "When they need replacing. This is because most of my golfing life I played leather grips, until recently. Leather became too hard, and transmitted too much vibration to my aging hands. My hands do have some issues. So I switched to the SuperStroke Cross Comfort Grip. It is very similar to the Winn Dri-Tac, but less expensive. Like the leather grip they are very comfortable to play without a glove, so are the Winn Dri-Tac grips. I like this feature because a glove is miserable in our heat and humidity. So far they have held up well, and I play alot. They don't slip when my hands get sweaty.

I played yesterday afternoon in the heat. No slippage. They do take some getting used to coming from chords. I liked it though.

I re grip when they start slipping. I clean with orange cleaner a few times a year and it brings some tack back.

Look at Star grips and read reviews. Cheap iomic with great resilience.

I've only regripped once as I haven't been playing terribly long but I wish I'd have known about the z cords. They put on the MCC +4 midsize grips for me and I like the way they feel but start to get slippery unless cleaned constantly. I borrowed a club from a buddy to try out and had the z cord grip and I loved it. Same firm feel but much more friction. I will be going with these from now on unless I find something better.

Z-grips last a while. Mine made it 2 years, and I play multiple times a week. Just regripped a month or so ago.

Grips can really be refreshed with some Dawn, hot water and Scotch-brite pads. Even older grips feel amazing after a good scrubbing.

I do not do them all at the same time. The ones used often once a year but I don’t set a date I just look at them and when they need to be done do it. There are times I don’t want them regrouped because I just like the feel the way it is. I have two wedges like that and a 7 iron.

I have a Titleist wedge with a cord grip and its awesome.

I may be switching to cords.

I have Golf Pride MMC right now and they always feel slippery.

I have never found cord to actually assist in grip. Part of the problem is, until recently(maybe) all manufacturers used a firmer rubber in their cord models. The firmness always made me fell like they were slick.

Pure grips last several years for me - like 3-4 years - and I play 4 times a week and leave them in my hot car everyday - Pure are the best
