I want to get a rangefinder, but I have a hard time justifying spending over $200 on one. Any of y’all have/use one of these lesser known brands like Bozily, Precision Pro, TecTecTec, etc. ? Or should I save up and get a Bushnell?

Save up and get a nice one, one that has a pinseeking feature, and also golf board

Get an older Bushnell Pinseeker off of ebay. Can be had for under $100 and works fine.

You dont need any of the fancy bells and whistles unless you're a scratch golfer.

There is a room between a Bushnell and an off-brand.

I use this one and it hasn't let me down yet. Even has slope.

Callaway Range Finder - $199 w/ Slope

ETA:

I don't need to spend $400+ on range finder because I lose one every couple of years

I walk to my ball with a couple clubs, a towel, and my range finder all the time. Being tethered to my bag on the cart is a no-go for me.

I do have a pouch for it on my bag that I store it in after the round.

ETA:

The thing that works for me though is this:

Magnet sleeve that goes on the cart so it's always in my eye sight. I'll notice if it isn't there.

Sorry, but no way will I spend $500 on a rangefinder.

I have a $180 TECTEC that works just fine.

I have atleast an 8 year old Callaway with the Nikon opics and it is as accurate as a $500 Bushnell.

I use a bushnell phantom.

It gives me yardage to front, back, and middle plus any hazards.

It’s enough info for me.
