I got home from work today and had some time on my hands around 7 to go to the range at bayou oaks but when I got there the south course looked empty and I figured I still had an hour, so I started on the front at 7:05 and got through 6 holes by 8:00. 1,2,3,4,8,9. Thought 6 holes in 55 minutes on foot wasn’t too shabby. Didn’t feel rushed or like i was hustling anymore than usual. What’s the fastest you have played a round in?

I played 18 in a cart by myself in high school in like 1:45. If I play by myself in a cart it's never much more than 2 and not more than 3 if I walk.

Regularly walk 18 sub 2.5 hours if I have the course to myself late evening. If you aren’t good, you may as well be fast.

I worked at LSU GC throughout college. I'd punch out at 1:30 and be done with my round by 3:30. Those were the good ole days.

I stopped paying attention to how fast a round is a long time ago. I play a whole lot better if I’m not trying to rush through a course. I’m usually trying to improve my game not just ‘get in a round’ in a short period of time.

They had a fund raiser back in the 90's here that involved playing as many holes as possible in one day. You would get people to donate money per holes you played. This was either in February or March if I can remember correctly. We played 180 holes in one day. Five rounds in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. Started at 7am, took a break at noon. Resumed at 1pm and finished at dark. Everybody had their own cart in groups of three's. It was almost like golf polo. There was a freeze that morning and the greens had ice on them, but warmed up to the 60's about lunch. I was one sore sob after that round and had to work that night. Gave prizes for low rd averages and highest round. Talk about getting your game in shape fast.

In high school my dad's course used to let me play for free in the evening if I walked. My buddy and I got 18 in before sunset starting at 3:30 many times

I regularly walk 18 at Webb after work in less than 2:30. Walked Santa Maria in the middle of the day Monday in 2:45. I love playing by myself as long as I'm not having to wait on groups in front.

Years ago I was meeting my father at a local course to play during the week after the twilight rate kicked in at 3:00 PM. My father got sick and could not play so I played alone. I got in about 30 holes in 4.5 hours.

Me and a buddy of mine can play 18 in about an hour and 45 minutes at our home course without rushing.

I once played 36 holes at Webb in 3.5 hours playing alone and riding cart. Broke 90 both rounds (which is a big deal to me) but my arms and legs were sore for a couple days.
