100% support not paying full Green Fees for punched or top-dressed greens. That's BS.

I've got a ball retriever. Don't mind the starter spiels. Definitely don't have 100 head covers. Never use poker chips for markers. I like to walk or ride, can't carry a ice chest. No iron covers, did at one time but lost some so just chunked the rest. If I double cluck, I'll count it as two. Don't mind the kid getting my clubs out or putting them in. Adjustable driver, if it aint broke, don't fix it. I do hate it when you call for a tee time and they don't pass on to you that the greens have just been punched. My game is always on point so I don't need no stinking golf aids. And I cut down a set of my wife's clubs to make a junior set for my grandson and couldn't tell the difference between them and the junior set his father bought him.

I agree with pretty much all of these. I wish the poker chip ball marker fad would die.

You know someones a hack if they have with iron covers, a ball retriever and a poker chip...

I’m guilty of a few.

My ballmarkers I use aren’t poker chips but they aren’t standard either. One is the size of a quarter but it’s thicker. Another is the size of a poker chip but it’s flat.

I have expensive wood headcovers.

I’ve taken advantage of the double hit rule.

I’m also fine with paying normal prices for punches greens. If you start taking away revenue, those greens won’t get punched at all and will start to suck. That being said, I’d like to know beforehand.

I agree with most of these. I buy the poker chips as souvenirs at nice courses, but always have my lucky coin for the greens.
Also just ordered a set of USA head covers for 15 bucks off Amazon. Murica!

There ain't nothing lucky about a lucky coin. I play in a scramble with a guy that always puts his so called lucky coin out. Well, it ain't fricking lucky. Why do people want to believe this bull shite. How about practice being a better fricking putter.

Played Beaver this past weekend and 3-4 holes were straight up just missing part of the green. No one told us anything beforehand so we payed full price for that BS.

I've started buying a golf shirt from place I play. At least I'll use it.

Maybe a club could produce more revenue by offering 25% off Green Fees? Get more people who wouldn't normally play and offset the regulars who are waiting for the greens to come back.

Anything would be better PR than sticking someone for full price when they can't even play the greens

I agree with this. I played Golf Club of Houston (Shell Houston Open Course) a couple of weeks back. The ball rolling on the greens looked like plinko, but we only had to pay $50 versus $125 at peak time. I was completely fine with playing on those greens at that price.

Heck yes. I'd stand in line to play that course for $50, punched greens and all

At a minimum you have to tell your customers about the conditions. You want to run a special? Great. You want to keep it the same price? Great. But do not have arse conditions and expect people to be happy when they pay full price.
