I hit both. Preferred shape off the tee is fade though.

Draw and I wish that I could hit a cut fade.

Would love to be able to hit the ball left to right. Can’t do it. Gave up.

My stock shot is a push draw with all clubs. It can quickly turn into a low supersonic hook when I’m not swinging it well.

This is me to the letter. natural draw, can draw all kinds of different ways & severities. I cannot fade any club no matter what I try.

Until an amateur can own a fade they will always be inconsistent IMHO. Too much can go wrong with a draw to rely on as a weekend amateur golfer

A fade because my natural swing has always been a fade and it's easier for me to control than a draw. Absent having to hit a draw based on the lie, I really only choose to hit a draw sometimes off the tee when I'm trying to get more roll out or can cut the corner with a draw. But if I'm just trying to hit the fairway, it's pretty much a baby fade every time

Always played a draw, especially off the tee. Sometimes that turns into a block right.

The past year I have been messing with a fade, and it just seems so much easier for my body to naturally play that shot shape. Have been integrating it slowly.

Exactly what I typed There is way more timing involved with a draw, therefore more to go wrong

Here's the problem. They own the wrong fade. You must draw first. There's really no getting around that.

Used to play a draw growing up, then went a decade where I couldn't hit a draw to save my life which meant fades and subsequently slices if I went after one. Finally started hitting a draw/straight shot again that's longer and more consistent than my fade/slice by focusing on where and how to finish as opposed to back and downswing stuff all the time.

Still remember how to take out the left side by making sure my ball fades when necessary though, so best of both worlds right now.

Had a big banana that I had perfected for years growing up. Quit playing for 5 years came back 4 yrs ago with a new desire to see the ball go right to left only to discover Snap hooks are worst miss in the game and paralyzing . I’m back to 240 yd baby fade and will never entertain a draw again.

That's the thing though, I don't time anything. I don't always intend to hit draws. It just happens. I can hit it straight, I can draw it, but I can't hit reliable fades to save my life. I've tried everything up to & including shitloads of youtube & magazine tips. So for me, the opposite is true.

Not meaning to argue, just pointing out: it's what happens naturally

I play a fade...and a dead pull. The challenge is figuring out when each will show up.

I don’t disagree. You have to learn both to truly own either IMHO

Draw with all fairway woods and irons.

Driver is usually a draw, but if I swing too hard I’ll sometimes chicken wing it, get stuck and hit a nasty push slice.

Grew up playing a draw. Worked real hard to get my swing more upright. Now I'm wishing I could play my draw again.

Spraying my drive way right when I still have a draw in my mind is really frustrating.

Ideally I would play a slight draw, but be able to play either a draw or a fade. I was able to do that years ago. Now I just want to be consistent.

I’ve played a 3-5 yard fade ever since I picked up the game. Just sort of a natural thing. Eventually I figured out how to work a draw and I love when I get that feeling of compressing the ball and seeing it turnover to the left. That said, if I put a nice swing on the ball and just hit naturally not trying to work it, the fade comes right back.

I think this is a grass is always greener type situation. I’ve had lots of folks ask me how I hit a consistent fade as they try to work overdrawing the ball out of their game. I wish I could give good advice other than saying, I swing and the ball fades a few yards. At least it’s consistent and controlled, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Also, easy answer. arse over titties every time.

Yesterday I got to play with my new “fitted” driver.

I hit the ball straighter with it so I can just aim down the middle.
I was aiming down the left side and hitting a cut.
