Using holes from various places can you design the perfect golf course? You have to place the holes in there specific place.

So 17 at Stadium Course or 17 at Pebble has to be your hole 17.

You can’t use more than 2 holes in a row from same course.

You burn in hell for omitting 15. That is my only Ace and the hole where I sky’d a pitching wedge over the net and crashed it through the rear windshield of a car. Ole girl tore around College, up the side street and drove her arse onto the course to discuss the situation.

Ahh… good memories from that hole.

Curious how you rank Pine Valley holes. They aren't on TV much, if ever.

17 is a really hard choice for me. Do you go Pebble, TPC Scottsdale with the stadium, or TPC Sawgrass? Am I missing any other 17s?

Any list without Thibby's favorite hole is incomplete. #9 at Fashion Golf & Country Club that featured the tractor hazard.

I think there are better holes at Bay Hill to use.

Funny enough I just thought about the Par 3 beast on the back nine at Whistling Straits, and it's #17. Probably just recency bias dripping into my head since we just saw the Ryder Cup there.

No. 17 Pinched Nerve

This hole is insane and probably would be my choice.

TPC Scottsdale with the stadium

If you're referring to the par 3, that's 16 not 17. 17 is a driveable par 4 with water short and left.

And 16 is a boring hole without the tournament going on. It's a short par 3 in the desert.

I think it’s fair to have the tournament atmosphere count towards the hole ranking. And I think #17 at TPC Sawgrass is the pick.

My buddy just played it a few weeks ago. It sounds like a fun course but couldn’t imagine that the course is cohesive

Played it several years ago. Was in good shape. It was fun, but you have to use your imagination to get close to thinking you are really playing the holes they represent. But again it’s a fun course & as close to most of those holes most of us will ever play.
