Coldest you'll play golf?

Off all week and was really looking forward to playing a lot. Played yesterday and the weather was mid 40s and misty rain on and off. Just wasn't fun. Today the high is only 41 degrees and 10-15 mph winds so just staying in bored. Not the best week.
At what temp/conditions do you choose not to go?

Wind and sun play a huge part in this. With sun and low wind, I could probably go down to 42. Cloudy? 50. Cloudy and windy? 57.

I subscribe to the age rule. If temps do not reach my age, I do not play in the cold months.

You don’t play when it’s under 80?

I've played in mid 30s with sun out and it was not bad at all, but could barely hit the ball anywhere.
I played yesterday morning in Houston (Wildcat Lakes course) and it wasn't too bad. Drizzled for the first 2 holes with temps in upper 40s, then stopped. Finished in under 3 hours with carts on path because no one else was out there.

That's spot on for me

Never thought about that one. I put a couple balls in a cup of coffee before the round.

Probably. A couple of tour players I knew used to do. I’m sure it’s just been carried on for generations as “working”

Tomorrow, 40 and over cast with a 10mph NNE wind. Walking with push carts.

That seems dumb

That’s what I’ve been trying to tell the idiots I’m playing with, but they insist on playing anyway.

Shot 78 at Webb today. Walking, wearing Frogg Toggs I was comfortable. 40 degrees is probably my limit.

55 degree rule with sun.
