He’s full of shite. He said he was a 3, but could only find someone who is a 2 on the GHIN lookup.
Played Friday and forgot. Mingo regrets the error
115/170ish with the driver. A little inside and over the top but can deliver it 2 degrees from the inside with pretty good consistency.

Isn’t there a wrist brace contraption that keeps your wrist prone (sic) throughout your swing??

You’re trying to say one round swung you a full point?

Not a training aid but Ben Hogans timeless book:

Hmmm. You don’t practice but you’re at the range.

My “practice” is getting there like 30 minutes early… sometimes.
I’ve probably been to just the range like 3 times this year

Hit balls with a driver head cover under your right armpit.

If that’s really you… you could stand to lose a few pounds

Swing a 3 foot piece of rope. It will help your tempo. When you can straighten the rope at point of contact and not slap the crap out of your back on follow through you're good.

The drunker i get, the better i play. Or maybe i just don't care anymore. John Daly definitely cracked the code to great golfing outings

I’ve never had a lesson and don’t practice and am currently a 3 handicap
You also play from the midget box in front of the ladies tees.

Training aids are one thing, but a beginner should never ever try to learn how to swing by watching YouTube “instructional” videos.
Go get a lesson. A good teaching pro will show you a drill or two that will force you to feel the correct swing mechanics. Taking mechanical thoughts to the course will only end in frustration.

Best Golf Training Aid?
What has worked best for you and was actually worth it?
There's lots of questions to be answered for what you want to do playing golf. Do you want to play scrambles for work? Do you want to be an A player in your group? Do you play now and want to trim some shots and be better? Are you a fresh beginner that has never really played and want to learn ground up? What are you trying to work on?
--The best thing you can do for every single one of these questions and the only common answer for all, work on putting and be a good putter. There are several good tools to help with that. Ping and iPod had a great tool years ago that I don't think you can find anymore that was a clip for your putter shaft and a ping app that would help you see what type of putter would be best for you and help train tempo. From there, it is just practice.
-- Learn to make contact on the range before hitting the course and having pressure on you.
-- Alignment sticks are mentioned a few posts up but they are the best training aid you can buy for the long run. You use them at the start or as a +10 handicap. Alignment is a huge chunk of peoples woes.
-- Know your role in your group. If you aren't good, be a good vibes guy. Have a solid little speaker with you and play some great music and buy a few rounds. It will keep people inviting you back to play again. Don't bitch about playing bad if you suck at golf. Too many 20 handicaps throw a tantrum about hitting a bad shot and shooting 90 when that is what a 20 handicap does on a good day.
-- as an individual playing, there is a guy on YouTube named golfsidekick. He can be cringy at times but his information is spot on and great. He isn't going to teach you to hit the ball but he teaches you to manage the course at different levels. Jason Day does a lot of great stuff about chipping and around the green and he shines at it. Breaks it down well.

Two things
Find a pro to give you a lesson so you know what a proper swing should feel like.
Buy a mat and a net and repeat that swing 100’s of times. Rinse and repeat.
Repetition and muscle memory is key. When you can hit the ball straight more times than not work on chipping and putting.
