Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach.

I honestly think this is the answer and by Myrtle I would specify Pawley's Island.

I do not know what the February weather is like in Myrtle. Are you guys still playing?

Pinehurst would be great without a budget. Same with Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach.

But you can't she'll out that kind of money on your weekly round of golf. You need good, affordable public options. If money wasn't an object, why not Bandon.

Hard pass. Almost every course there is about 3-4x the price that it should be.

Lol what? Bandon is not doubt a great destination for golf but in no way shape or form a good place to live for golf. This is a top idiotic response.

You're telling me it's a terrible place to live for golf, money not being an issue?

Vegas is insane. You can play Louisiana “nice” courses routinely for under $50 if you use the apps.

12 months of golf with 100 courses to choose from. Plus you get to live in Vegas

For sure. 50s/60s in Feb. Myrtle area to me is the best because it offers so much legit affordable public golf and it’s not near as busy as what I have experienced in Florida. Pawleys Island is my #1 golf recommendation to people that want to do a US golf trip that isn’t to one of the major resorts. It can’t be beat

Pinehurst without a budget? What are you talking about, its easily the most affordable country club membership given the quality of golf it has available on top of being surrounded by some of the best golf courses in the state. The town of Pinehurst is amazing and far more reasonably priced than any other golf and/or resort town. Re: Kiawah, Hilton Head, Sea Island, etc.

My parents live there and it's the most modest place you could imagine. The initiation fee is less than CCL, BRCC, NOCC, MCC, etc etc.

Yes based on OP describing his situation. I would not want to live in Bandon as a young 30 year old.

Landmand is no where near the Sandhills. I’ve only played Wild Horse, fun links style course. But where would you live to join one of the private sandhill clubs? There’s nothing in central Nebraska.

Is there a reasonable job market in Pinehurst? This is an intriguing option.

When did money not an issue become part of it? He described his circumstances.

I once did a 3 day 90 hole weekend at HH which included Daufuskie. I doubt I will ever top that. The only downside was fatigue affecting my game toward the end. I loved the golf over there.
