It got me the first few holes as well lol although on 13 the pin was front middle up on the shelf and I hit my shot to the back fringe. Had to putt up that huge hill and resulted in my only 3 putt lol left it halfway up the hill and luckily it didn't roll back.

Copper Mill was punched and sanded on 06/24/2026. We played it Sunday and they rolled smooth but slow.

Played Clark yesterday. The fairways were in good shape. The grounds crew was working to add new sand to the bunkers, so many of them weren’t playable while they were doing that. They have no maintenance day, so it is what it is.
The greens looked pretty decent for that course. They’re also not mowing them quite as short. As a result, they’re filling in nicely and are quite slow. There is still the issue of too many golfers not fixing their divots though, so you have to repair quite a few imperfections before putting.

I’m assuming many beginners don’t know about fixing ball marks on the greens. It’s amazing how many unrepaired marks you will find at city. I repaired north of 15 on number two green alone a few days ago.

It’s also because City Park has irrigation issues they refuse to address. Their greens sty saturated even when ut hasn’t rained for a week. The trees will have the fairways nothing but hard pan soon.

I think you’re right. I just walk around fixing them when I have time. Probably fixed an average of 10 per hole yesterday.

Good news. Headed there Friday morning. Going to buy the Copper Card this time.

I’m used to their old lightning fast greens and now I feel like I have to hit the ball fairly firm.
Greystone’s greens are very fast again. I guess letting them grow out and slow down was temporary.
