Played Oak Harbor today. Hot as hell but had a great time. First time on a golf course since my dad passed away in March of '18. Drove the ball really well.

77 in Crowley, bogied last 3 holes like an idiot worried about preserving my score. 2 birdies, chances for several more. Best round in about a year I guess. Course may be in the best shape I've ever seen

We have the Lloyd Nickel tournament in 2 weeks. They always have it ready. Did you play the Dogfight?

Played Carter Plantation today. The tees, fairways, and greens were in excellent shape. Sand traps not so much. Evidently they have been watering like hell because the traps were like playing in the surf sand at the beach - sopping wet. Also the grass around the traps had not been cut in some time and was literally 6-10" long in places

Greens were faster than anything that I have played this summer and cost me a lot of strokes. Probably had 6 or more three putts.

I shot 95. Normal for me is about 85-89.

18 at Webble Beach after work. 39-39 for a 78. Birdies at 11 and 17, doubles at 6 and 12, and bogeys at 2, 13, 15 and 16.

Greens are still pretty rough after being punched 2+ weeks ago, but they are playable.

Enjoying these evening rounds. I’ll put up with the heat for the daylight. Can’t do this in the winter.
