Through the rain at Vieux today..72 before lil man is born Tuesday. Last round for a while, wet today but ended on a good note.

Golf Weekend in Olive Branch, MS (Memphis Area)
Friday Afternoon:
Kirkwood - 87 with 3 birdies - I had 6 unplayable/hazard penalties. If you missed the fairway you were probably unplayable.
Saturday:
Wedgewood - 89 - I kept the ball in play a little better but didn't score well at all.
Cherokee Valley - 83 with 2 birdies. Played pretty well on the front but had some loose swings on the back. I felt like I finally found my swing on the front and maybe got a little tired on the back.
If you are in the area and looking for value courses these 3 are all great courses for the price.
This was my first time playing Kirkwood and it was pretty tough. Lots of blind tee shot landing areas and some long skinny greens. It was definitely different.
The greens at Wedgewood are about as good as you will ever see on a $40 course. I've played all over the south and they are some of the best I've played.
Cherokee Valley is a really fun setup and is always in great condition.

Played the Island Sunday and Beaver Creek Monday. 78 at Island, 76 at BC. Both courses in good shape.

Legacy Pines in SC. 45/45 for a 90. Temps this week shouldn't get over 90, so I'm looking forward to lack of heat stroke.
