Arrcos vs. Shotscope vs. Anything Else

I like the idea of having real, on course shot distance data - not hitting at the range.
What I don't like about arrcos is the annual subscription.
What I don't like about Shotscope is having to carry my phone or the other little device they have, or wearing a watch (i get antsy wearing the wrong shorts or shirt that is the least bit binding)
Anyone use either of these, or something else? I was using the 18 birdies app to track distances, but again, I don't want to fiddle with my phone.

Bushnell works great.
I can accurately laser how far the pin is.
Then I’m able to pick the perfect club to slice it and get nowhere near said pin.
