Played Denham Springs Country Club (aka The Pines at North Park) yesterday. 45 on the "front", 38 on the back, including 4 pars and 2 birdies. 83 total.

The course is pure shite right now. Greens are absolutely unputtable. However, I did have a good conversation with the head greenskeeper.

Basically, he said the CC had been neglected for years by the owners mostly due to lack of money. He said right now, now that the Parks & Rec of Denham Springs bought the course, their main goal is to get grass growing again on all greens, so they're shaggy as hell in spots right now, and bare and sandy in other spots, and weed clumps in between. He said they've been purposefully letting them grow and apologized for the poor putting conditions.
However, he did say by this time next year, it should be back in as close to ideal conditions as its ever been.

I told him he needs to do everybody a favor and cut down that big Oak in front of the 7th green.

Wanted to hit Greystone today, but I had to work. May try to play over the weekend there.

Audubon Park Saturday in serious winds. shot an 81, didnt lose a ball. on 17 i had to use my driver to hit the green from the box because we were hitting dead into the wind. only the second time ive played Audubon, but i really like it. especially when I can get a walking rate for $20 every afternoon.

93 at The Preserve today. I'm not a good golfer, but this was the best round in a while for me. Course is perfect. Zero complaints.

Shell Landing tomorrow... hopefully

Bluejack National - 75 - hit 7/14 fairways bad shaft in my demo mizuno 190 (atmos tour 7x)

Played with an ex Aggie and some baws. Played Akorn tees - really unimpressed with the course but the amenities and playground (par 3 course) were real tight.

Shell Landing today. 98. Vomit. Greens are no joke. Slick as glass especially with those complexes.

You should be ashamed for letting him play a ranch.

Besides the two greens that have been mentioned multiple times, they’re currently some of the best public greens in the area. Not saying much honestly, but it’s still true.

And the two bad ones are recovering well. They were seriously considering closing them and re-sodding but it doesn’t look like that will be needed anymore.

Played Pelican point yesterday early before the downpour. Good shape, greens a tad slow but smooth. 69, 8 birdies, 5 bogeys.
