Yeah looks like it maxes out at about 300 right now. There’s just an empty lot behind it though. Surely the city owns that so extending it shouldn’t be a problem.
Length of the range won’t be a problem. Can easily gain more length.
The range would require all new mats, balls, and the range itself would need a ton of work to put actual targets beyond posts with numbers painted on them.
Then you have to upgrade the practice area which would require changing the footprint of the north course.
Not saying it can’t be done, especially with the kind of money we’re talking about, but English Turn is a lot less challenging from getting the facility ready standpoint.

I've not been to Bayou Oaks but if The PGA Tour can make the range at Memorial Park work then LIV should be fine at Bayou Oaks.

They would probably just use the north course as a “range” ..

Can smith will set the record for most feet of putts made ever if they play there

LIV offering $10 million
Where are you hearing this? Because the people I talked with said 1.2-1.5 million.

It’s all bro talk. Nobody has a reliable named source. The ideas they are throwing around are absurd.

A large group of us played English Turn today………and if LIV wants to host an event there, the course has to get to work fast. Overall course was probably a C condition wise. And that may be a stretch. Infrastructure is there, it just needs a ton of work in the next 6 months.

Played with a fellow this weekend who works for the fundraising arm of City Park. The park, not the golf course, and I was told that Greg Norman visited Bayou Oaks a week or so ago to scout out the course.

English Turn would be the obvious place. Bayou Oaks would need a serious upgrade
