AGREE.
I should have took a 7 or 8 iron cod punched it down to a comfortable wedge distance.

I thought it was going to be. I played with two of my baws that shoot like 100 and it was like $45 for a Sunday morning primo tee time. The greens were actually awesome though

82 at Mesquite golf club this morning
Here's a pic of my drive at 18. 390 yard hole, 76 yards in, I calculate that right around 310 or so

I played Porto Cima at the Lake of the Ozarks this afternoon. Great course. Good to be back in my home state for a few days.
ETA. Score was not good but screw it.

I’ve got a couple vouchers for $85 rounds at the Copperhead course. Each one is good for a foursome at that rate for each player.
Seems like a solid deal and is good through December. I’ll give you a heads up when we get ready to use em to see if you can make it.
Down! Love that course

Played Payne's Valley, Buffalo Ridge, Top of the Rock, and Ozarks National this weekend. All great courses and BCL was an incredible facility. Ozarks National was my favorite followed by Buffalo Ridge.

Played Kosatti
It was in great shape all around. Great Father's Day 18 was a bit overcast which kept the temp under 90 ??

Bear Creek West. Couldn't swing my driver and had an amazing putting day and a bunker hole out for birdie and still shot a freaking 90

Played both Saturday and Sunday at Beau Pre in Natchez. Course was in mostly good shape except for parts of the greens. Greens were really firm and fast, but apparently sections of the edges where they drain had some sort of algae growing and they cut out big sections to replace. Lots of sanded areas. For the most part, none of our group ever was affected by it, other than having to chip over those sections at times when putter may have otherwise been the play.
Gave back what I won on Saturday during yesterday's round. The hangover was real. Big thanks to the Bloody Mary's personally delivered to us on the 3rd tee by a restaurant owner who lives on the course. That was a lifesaver.
Highlights of the trip: driving to the back fringe on the 290 yard par 4 12th for a 2 putt birdie and draining a 30 foot birdie putt on the 18th Sunday to force our opponents to make a 6 footer to win the match (they did).
Really enjoyed that course that's 90 minutes from Baton Rouge. I'll be back for sure.
