5 wood advice

Ok guys I think I have found the missing piece for my bag…the 5 wood.
16 handicapper looking for forgiveness.
Some say Callaway or Ping, but I am leaning toward the TaylorMade Qi10 Max.
Thoughts?

Best club I’ve had in a long time. 5w TSR3. Dabbled with a 3 iron (various shafts) and hybrids. 5w knocks them all out of the park. Consider shortening the shaft as well for a little more control.

If you plan to hit it off a tee sometimes, I would get the Qi10 (taller face) and not the max.
I just got a Qi10 16.5 fairway wood and I am very pleased.
I also have a AiSmoke Heavenwood that is 4 wood length and 20 degrees. It's money off the deck. It's as long as some 5 woods.

A few months ago I went to Edwin Watts for a 3 or 5W with no set brand or club in mind. I swung everything they had and I kept going back to the AI smoke 5W with a Tensei Blue R flex shaft. After playing 6 or 8 rounds with it I can say I am completely satisfied with it in all aspects. The ball takes off of the face like a rocket and the forgiveness is absolutely insane. I have gotten to where alot of times I'll leave my driver in the bag because this thing is so long and forgiving I'm almost further than my driver with it.(Yes I suck but I love the game) Playing at LSU the first round with it I was 240 out on the first par 5 and sent it to about 15' from the green. I would have never expected that but it blew me away for sure. My next purchase is a new driver and I will 100% be swinging the AI smoke before I pick up any other ones to try.

I agree here, can't go wrong the the QI10 Max, I have that in 3W, but my 7W is a Ti Bubble 2 with the orange head
