All dependent on your home networking. Network should be faster because you're cutting out the slow middle man (external HDD), but shitty home networking will make for a slow time.

Can you explain? Is it based on my internet connection? I wasn't sure if this would be pulling from the cloud or if it's just device to device kind of like LAN gaming at home.

I have been utilizing an Hdd for most my games already so if you have as well you go and backup your settings and plug it into your one x and it should transfer.

correct. I cancelled it and am transferring via external drive. Network transfer would've taken 80 years

So, apparently if you order the "new" One x's from target that they just got in, there is an expedited shipping option.

However, for the pre-orders that they've had on order for months, there is nothing you can do. Makes sense.

Awesome!

It makes absolutely no sense to take 7 days to make it from Dallas to Atlanta. Is it already in the hands of the USPS? or is it like UPS where they give it to USPS for the delivery only?

And now Amazon has the Scorpio in stock

Yeah just letting mine go overnight and going to mess with it tomorrow.

Already feels pretty buggy though, Xbox helper toolkit wasn’t opening. Internet browser popped open at times and not responsive. Nothing new or exciting except visuals, maybe, won’t know til I’m 79 and get to play

Also why the frick am I paying you 500 dollars and you still give me Duracell batteries for my control rather than a fricking battery pack

frick i might pull the trigger on that now

and its $500, the other week on Amazon it was going for $700+ resale.

But still $53 in sales tax, frick I wish i was still living overseas

Nevermind found project Scorpio on the BX website.

I had an extra battery pack already, tossed that in, still don’t understand that level of cheapness though. No headsets either.

Picked mine up last night. I didn’t really notice too much difference from the original, honestly. Also, found out I have a shitty 4K tv, apparently.

i played wolfenstein for about 2 minutes, and you could tell some slight differences with textures and particle effects. most games are only "enhanced" right now. we'll need full 4k and HDR to see the real difference

On that note, Best Buy has a very liberal return policy. I’m on the same page though I feel underwhelmed, dunno what I expected, but a tech refresh at the price a next generation console launched for still seems off to me

I played a game of Madden and I could tell some differences. My tv doesn’t do HDR so that sucks. Guess I’ll have to buy a new one. I really need a new computer first though

Halo 5 is listed as 4K if you all have the Xbox gamer program it’s a free download right now.

What’s the difference between 4K and 4K HDR? As some show as being 4K no HDR and some as 4K with HDR

4k is a resolution

HDR gives more vivid and accurate colors, as well as additional depth

HDR is what you want more than anything

HDR IS the upgrade IMO. Not 3820x2160

I must say, this thing might be a little gaming computer. Looking at comparissons from Digital Foundry between tX and Pro, tX looks nice with steady frames.

Only if they had Horizon Zero Dawn..

Guy at work plays Arc and said the rendering is so much faster that he could go place with no lag that used to have bad lag.
