much more capability than the regular xbox one... however nothing really to play on it. That's why I'm waiting

That is ridiculous for a console without a great exclusive library.
As a PC gamer the PS4 and Switch have a draw because of 1st parties. XBOX doesn't have that, plus we get their 1st party games sooner than PS4.
Price is a little high for what is being offered.

I'm a pretty chill person by nature but this honestly pisses me off pretty bad. They billed the Xbox One as a "10 year console" and now they already have another one four years later and it's $500. And I need to get a new TV just to support it? horseshite.

I dont understand. Why does everyone say there is nothing to play on it? There are tons of games to play on it. Its just PS4 has more exclusives but not that many more. If games like Horizon Zero Dawn are selling points then I could understand. Personally for me Horizon was overrated.

I take what may be a rare stance on this idk, I like this console trend of a new beefier one every few years and hope it continues.
I would LOVE to see a PS5 in say 2 years with a Ryzen+Vega inside. Keep pushing it, and finally get a console off of fricking Jaguar CPU's .
New cycle for consoles instead of 10 years holding shite back.

I feel the same way. Every 2yrs an update console is fine with me and encorage it. I just don't see the point of this upgrade for the XBONE, not in my position with a PC. The console doesnt have great exclusives.
Just want the next revision of the PS now.

I'm going to go ahead and say frick FedEx. I got a shipping confirmation on sunday and the tracking # with status of label printed. Didn't ship all sunday, didn't ship all monday. Shipped this morning, but scheduled delivery date is the 13th. That is garbage.

BUT..
Its not like upgrading a PC yearly and losing hundreds. I like consoles to stay a little more static but the refresh of the Pro made a difference for me. It was needed because the base model was a little weak. Now I'm feeling the Pro is hitting a wall and we need another upgrade by this time next year.
I just don't see the upgrade worth it for the XBONE if you already own a PC. Since we usually get the 1st party games roughly around the same time. This buy in a little high for what you are getting also.

It's not at all, and with a PS4 Pro already I am not about to buy a 2nd upgraded console that still has jaguar cores. frick that, I wasn't happy the Pro kept the same CPU, sure as hell not that a year later this one does too.

Damn man, I am in Afghanistan and will get mine that same day. Gamestop wouldn't ship direct to an APO address so I had to have it delivered to APObox.com. Should arrive there today, leave Chicago tomorrow thru USPS, and I should have it in hand on the 13th.
