I'm going to assume it will probably update again and have an earlier arrival date, I'm just pissy they are dragging arse right now.

It shipped out of Dallas this morning at 3am. It was in Midlothian since Sunday morning though.

Yep. I'm already assuming it will be damaged when I get it.

Network. At the rate it was going before I left, it should be transferred by 3017

How do I transfer my stuff over from my old to my new?

Mine was delivered and Wifey already "notified" me of the delivery. ;)

I was really leaning towards selling it when I ordered it, they made so many of the special editions though that they were still being sold days ago, meaning I am not making a fricking thing. The lack of benefit currently from utilizing this at a 500 dollar price point over my Xbox One S that is less than a year old were negligible.

The wife factor though, whenever my wife wrote me saying she was going to get this for X-mas as my gift then I was kind of locked in.

You can transfer it all to an external hard drive then to the one x, or you can transfer it all via the network. Linked an article on the last page that talks about it.

So, apparently if you order the "new" One x's from target that they just got in, there is an expedited shipping option.

However, for the pre-orders that they've had on order for months, there is nothing you can do. Makes sense.

Which option is usually faster?

I would think the external hard drive would be.

All dependent on your home networking. Network should be faster because you're cutting out the slow middle man (external HDD), but shitty home networking will make for a slow time.
