If you've never played an AC game, would you just start with the first one and play then all in order?

Or are there any you would pass on that are not worth the time?

Probably start with the new one dropping tonight

Also, black flag is awesome
Syndicate was fun too.
I haven’t played the others except for 1&2

Which AC game has peaked your interest to give the series a try? You may lose interest since some of the older ones can feel a little dated. The newer ones arent a bad place to start.

This. The story in the earlier ones is great but man, do they get repetitive after a bit.

Play the Ezio trilogy first, then Black Flag.

Yea I played 1 and 2 back when they released but never played anymore of them.

I just started 2 remastered and the story is great but man some of the graphical choices they made make alot of the character models look very wonky.

AC2, Brotherhood, Black Flag, and Syndicate are all considered the best is the series, but up until Unity, the game play is super dated and can be really frustrating if you're not used to it. They revamped it with Origins and Odyssey, along with Valhalla, and it actually ays like a fun video game.

If Witcher 3 played like these latest games, I might actually enjoy it.

Cool, I thought I was the only person in the world that had way more fun playing AC Odyssey than Witcher 3.

Witcher has everything I would love about a game, and I've given it so many chances, but I just hate playing it. I hate having to hit the interact button 3 times before he'll pick something up.

I could never get past the early ones. How do the new ones differ?

Not a chore to play, actually stealth games now, massive open worlds leaning more towards RPG's with dialogue choices and upgrading gear (mainly Odyssey).

They revamped the series for the last 3 games: ac origins in Egypt, ac odyssey in Greece, and ac Valhalla vikings releasing today. Id start there, all 3 games have received great reviews.

Before those, black flag was considered the best but gameplay was much different....and the games are old

AC2’s graphics in particular are quite dated. But the Ezio storyline is the best IMO though the gameplay isn’t as fun. You can just ignore all of the side quests too.

I'm currently playing Syndicate though haven't played in a few weeks. Will eventually get back to it once I'm done with Wasteland 3. Which is such a good game.
