COD4 was better absolutely.
MW2 was absolute garbage IMO and started the shitty COD trend we see today. Stackable cheap shitty kill streaks being one of them.
I know I am in the minority though. The last 4 or whatever CODs have just been shittier and shittier versions of MW2.

I thought Blops 1 and 2 were good entries in the series. Treyarch seems like they listen to the community. I could have done without some of the future bullshite in Blops 2 but it was still a balanced game IMO.
Less is more when it comes to these games but it seems like the developers and Activision want to give us the exact opposite.

I can't say it never was fun. I logged a decent amount of hours on it. Towards the end though it just got tiring. Strategy went completely out of the window in MW2. Or I should say that it completely changed in a bad way.

BO2 was the best because there was camping but nowhere near like it is now. Run and gun Sub machine guns ran that game and I loved it. Especially Hardcore S&D. Now Battlefield is just by far superior so I dont get very excited for any COD even though I own ghosts lol

They need to take the gameplay of cod4 as well as the limited kill streaks, add in map design and weapons from blops1, and the player customization of Ghosts.
