What games are you most excited for in the near future?

Say until the start of march next year?
Phantom Blade Zero is one I’ve been super hyped on for years. Also the people who have played it early multiple times I trust like Luke Stephens have said no the trailers aren’t bait and switching you they’re real, and that’s it a GOTY contender. Also he said nothing they’ve shown in the trailers is main story related it’s all side content. Finally he made sure to emphasize this is NOT a souls like in any way whatsoever, he described it as an extremely fast pace hack and slash built around perfect parties and perfect dodges as well as using multiple equipped weapons to chain together combos in combat between them.
Persona 4 revival was revival ofc for me as I’m like the board persona nerd I suppose.
P4 has the darkest story off any of the other main 3. On its face it’s a murder mystery and I highly recommend it especially since they will be bringing the modern stuff from p5 and p3 reloaded into a game that didn’t age gracefully
Ff7 revelation not sure if this makes it out by Feb but it not its a march release
And Code Veronica remake. Finally my favorite RE character Claire gets some respect on her name. I also like how they’re continuing the trend of 2makr and 4make and making the games more dark, as those teams are making this one. FYIY if anyone didn’t know the game will not support first person the first person spot was simply for the reveal trailer

I do think it’s funny every single game company in the world ran away from GTA for like all of November and most of December except one Chad Godzilla vs Monsters who doesn’t give a frick lol

Palworld 1.0 comes out tonight and is essentially supposed to be a brand new game, so I'm going to give that a spin. Based on the amount of time I put in a couple of years back when it was early access, I suspect that's going to scratch the gaming itch for a while.
I'm also going to pick up CFB 27 once some of the dynasty issues get cleaned up and will be interested in seeing how Fable 4 turns out.

First game was a janky, Lovecraftian, detective game. Combat was terrible and was mostly focused on investigating different mysteries around a flooded city. Not great, but it was a decent Lovecraft game if you don't mind the jank.
The sequel is supposed to be more of an RE style game with significant improvements to combat and less of a focus on the detective bits (e.g., find clues, connecting clues to solve mysteries, etc.).

Nice sounds like something I’d like a lot. I love love craft stuff but usually games trying to incorporate his mythos aren’t very good.

i dont think it has a release date but is said to be early 2027 so potentially Total War Warhammer 40k.

The trailer for revival looks like they’re adding something I can only refer to as synergy attacks because that’s what it looks like
If you watch towards the end it has Izanagi the MCs starting persona linking up with the other 1st person you get in your parties persona to do some type of double sword sweep.
This is certainly not a feature of the OG or royal or reloaded.
Super excited to see what they do with it
Maybe it’s like showtime from Royal idk but it looks more like it’s skill based
They’ve been putting out 2 minute sizzle real trailers for the party members.

Plus fully voice confidants all ranks. I cannot wait

The Deluxe Remastered Edition is regularly on sale for less than $10 on the PS store so I imagine it's just as cheap (or cheaper) on Steam sales.
Since the combat kinda sucks and is janky, people usually recommend just lowering the difficulty or avoiding combat as much as possible. There's also a super easy way to farm mats if you want to engage in a lot of combat but don't have the resources to make bullets, traps, healing, etc.
