Yeah, i had stayed the night at a friend's house and he broke those games out. I was instantly hooked.

That was like the first time i remember staying up all night too. I then immediately had to have this new atari 2600 thing that had been out for around 10 years.

I don't know if it was just new or what, but the game had crazy good replay value.

Definitely. For those that played on the Atari, I suggest reading the book "Ready Player One". Trust me you will enjoy it.

The day my Dad walked in the front door with an NES when I was 3. I've been gaming ever since. It's been a great 25 years

For someone who has watched video games for close to 25 years, I'm amazed on how popular 1st person shooters have become in the past decade.

out of all the COD multiplayer experience,(aside from that grenade launcher bullshite) i'd put MW2 at the top.

Super Mario Bros and Final Fantasy for the NES were the first games that I played and loved as a kid.

As a teenager, I used to stay up late on weekends and play the original tomb raider and resident evil on playstation.

Diablo 2 and Half-Life were the games that really got me hooked in PC gaming though.

As soon as i walked by that boarded up window on Resident Evil 1, and those arms and hands came through..i knew i was about to put serious time into that game.
