I will say though that Mario Kart blew my expectations out of the water. It truly felt like something new for the series even if it wasn't new to a racing game.
What did I miss? Look like just another Mario Kart. Which isn't a bad thing.

The switch 2 without it is 449. With it bundled 499.
Thats the discounted price you get if you buy it as a bundle. They're selling it stand alone at $79.99. GTA 6 might be $89.99 at this rate.

Definitely going to go for the Mario Kart bundle but have a feeling it's going to be a bitch to preorder this thing despite what Nintendo is saying.

I think I paid $70 for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for Super Nintendo, after having my dad drive me around to probably 5 different stores, taking up an entire Saturday.
I remember him being very annoyed.

In the developer q&a when they talked about game share, it sounds like you may be able to play switch 2 games in multiplayer with a switch 1.

They 100% showed that, at least for some games.

Looks like you can "race across the world" over multiple stages (tracks) starting with 24 racers with a few being eliminated at the end of every stage. You can just drive free-range throughout the world with friends.
My biggest question is will there still be traditional grand prixes and 4 race circuits like all the previous games. If not then this may be cool but it's not a direct replacement for MK8.
Later in April they will have a Direct dedicated to it so I guess we'll find out more.

They stated there will be in the trailer. The first mode they highlighted before the knockout mode.
The open world doesn't really do anything for me. It never really works for racing games. I imagine it will be ignored once players see all there is to see.
Although I do have fond memories of diddy kong racings overworld
Knockout modes are normally fun. Especially in high player counts.

They have lost their fricking minds…

Not seeing dealbreakers on either list but I would hope they fix Alien Isolation and Alan Wake Remastered at the least.
Or change the bug handling on those games to make them spiritual successors to Eternal Darkness.
