I only just started honestly; I had listened to TAZ and NADDPOD first, because I thought Critical Role had stuck to only being a web series. Once I found their podcasts after NADDPOD ended their first campaign, I was hooked. I will say though I skipped season one, because it felt like they jumped ahead or I had missed something in season one (they kept referencing events I had no idea about, despite it being episode one), so I figured I could always come back to that one.
Only two episodes in, and Jester and Beau are my favorites.

I do like how it’s not okay to assume gender...but it is okay to assume most gamers are white supremacist.

Campaign 2 takes place 10-20 years after campaign 1.

Jester constantly goes from being lovable to being irritating. Caleb's accent gets on my nerves a bit as does his familiar.
I'm completely caught up with Campaign 2. Jester is the only character in the group that doesn't go through a significant change over the course of the campaign.
You have to give Sam major props for playing a character with a Charisma of 5 given that he is by far the most charismatic of the group.

I get where he’s coming from, but yeah, pointing out that someone with idiotic ideas carries himself in other idiotic ways doesn’t weaken criticism.

Once you start self-identifying as a deer I think the privilege of being judged solely on what your argument is goes out the window. Male identifying as a female aside, she has made the poor choice of identifying as a deer. Although there is a whole bunch of subjectivity in the topic I think at that point you can't trust future decisions/actions.

The arguer is mentally ill. That’s the point being made here. It’s near impossible to prove or disprove that gamers are majority white supremacists, the male deer gets to make that statement for free. You can attack the argument, but there’s no clear facts to back it up either way. By far the easiest route here is to prove the male deer is mentally ill and therefore should not be serving on an advisory board
