I'm sure it could be better but my experience in those two matches wasn't terrible jumping in a squad as a solo.

I'm somewhere around Level 95 and have been playing on console for the last year. Probably the most rewarding game I've ever played from a personal sense.

Got up to level 16 playing 3-4 games yesterday. Definitely an enjoyable game.

Honestly, you will get the fullest experience of the game joining up with a casual clan on Discord.
They will have the most communication (which is the key with the game), and when they play against other clans will have a fully stratigized plan for the match with roles and placements.

HLL has one of the most mature playerbases of any modern multiplayer shooter. If you've been turned off by all of the WW2 and modern shooters being arcadey deathmatches then this might be the game for you.
It encourages team work and it's very satisfying to get kills and complete objectives. It has a steep learning curve, not to play the game, but to learn how to play the game well. For the average person who hasn't played a game like this in awhile, I'm talking several hours before you feel comfortable and like you're contributing but it's worth it.

Yeah for the most part I would just follow my squad around providing fire support. Definitely an enjoyable game.
I like that it's a lot slower paced but still keeps an enjoyable intensity. That's what I enjoyed about Tarkov but this game doesn't....as they say in Tarkov....constantly kick you in the dick.

This game is something I would compare to MAG from the old ps3 days. Except this game has a ridiculously quick time to kill... Like 1 shot to the dome and you done.

I've had fun playing it, but it's certainly not something that I care to play on my own or very frequently. Finding some friends to do a tank crew with has been the most fun.

Have anyone of you actually lost a round? I've played like 7-8 and even the rounds I felt my team was doing an awful job still led to us winning.
