But I don't like how the story is told in this one plus all the side quest that you can do at any point

Not a complaint, but the side quests are overwhelming. The the number of them in every area makes it pretty damn stressful and time consuming.

Hmm, I didn’t have this problem

re: Thoughts on Assassin's Creed origins?
I'm only skipping the side quest cut scenes. I've only been exploring and doing side quest it's been a few days since I've done the main mission.

I'm level 30 and still haven't killer the snake mission

That mission took me a few times to get. That thing is massive. Here is a hint : looking for the glow on your screen to where the snake will strike from. It is a white gold light and the snake will come from that direction. Have good aim with the bow and move around a lot.

I loved Black Flag, but I've gotten to the point where I won't even play Ubisoft games because their software reuse is so transparent between games that I feel like Im playing the same game with a different skin and some different mechanics every time. From the map construction, to the lookout points, to the sidequests. I hate that template they've been refining so much.

Did they break that whole mold on this too?

Yes.

Can't read the other replies?

Edt: FYI I was in the same boat until Origins. AC was trash just like the Uncharted series but they started to turn it around with this one.

re: Thoughts on Assassin's Creed origins?
I read the other replies but most changes seemed focused on combat and environment rather than the template specific I mentioned. If the combat and environment are great but the cookie cutter shite is still there im not interested.

Can’t wait. Finishing up Shadow of War and then going to play this. Looks like it’s $30 multiple places

re: Thoughts on Assassin's Creed origins?
So the only thing I've done so far is explore and a few side quest. I hit level 40 and have rolled over a few times just from the exploring. The world is massive.

I'm a little nervous, I've looked over the map 3 times now but I can't find any question marks not discovered or locations I haven't completed and I haven't got the achievement for completing all the locations yet. I have put 20 hours into just exploring and a few side missions.

I will be hooking up the LG oled c7 tomorrow and finishing on that. Should look even better

Any of you playing it on the PC? If so how is the combat using K+M?

Why would you not use a controller?

The Flamming Sword I keep seeing everywhere.

How do I obtain this item? Is it a mainor side quest? I'm currently lvl38 and haven't come across it.
