Thinking about buying the Spider-Man games

Specifically the last two, are they worth it? My only super hero game experience is with Batman: Arkham City, it was ok but not great.

Spider man 1 is a fun and really good game and excels at capturing true spider man
Miles morales is fun and built off the same city and map but miles is lame
Spider man 2 is dreadful do not buy it whatever you do unless you want lectures about race and sex politics, gun control, do a mission where you control a deaf black girl putting up graffiti, and another mission where you ensure two gay high schoolers go to prom together

Yes the original Spiderman game for PS4 (I think there's also a PS5 version) is quite well regarded.
Insomniac completely lost their minds after that and pretty much went all in on making it as much about left wing social issues as they could get away with. Spiderman is basically a side character in his own series and just serves as a vehicle for the DEI clown car.

They went all in with the DEI goofiness in Spider-Man 2. . .and what they did to MJ's face is unforgivable.
But the game itself is fine. Not bad, but not as good as the 1st

I'd love for them to still be making Arkham Knight level games. Gotham Kniggts was awful and I didn't even bother with Suicide Squad after I saw how they handled Batman.

I can't imagine forcing myself through all those VR training things. Those were awful. Rest of the game was amazing though.

I didn't have a problem getting 400 Riddler trophies or whatever but frick trying to fly through all those rings.

First game was extremely solid one my favorite super hero games up there with the Arkham games
The sequel is ok, it has some solid moments specifically with Peter and Harry. Kraven is a pretty fun villain too. But overall it just does not compare to the first one.
