Seems like this one is more quest focused and not dungeon focused though? Only 4 dungeons
Somewhat.
There is a lot more mechanics in Majora due to having to switch masks non-stop and what not, especially in the temples.

Mechanics...and puzzles.
And trying to fit everything in.
What was the explanation for being able to save money in the bank even though time resets?
You get a deposit slip on day 3, where they acknowlesge the error if you show them it on day 1?

More like they would arrest you for fraud

Just wait until the Anju/Kafei quest. Maybe the best ever sidequest of all time.
Brutal.

Be warned. It's not on wii u VC. I had to use the Wii vc. Which required me to buy a wii u plus motion control and a wii classic control.

This thread has made me want to start up OOT3D. I've had it sealed forever as it came with my 3DS. (OOT3D 3DS is so pretty)

Nice. Oot3d has the "master quest" too. I think that's like new game+? Some quest after beating Ganon.

I thought Masterquest was just a harder version of the base game with a different dungeon layout?

I transferred my wii to my wii u so I have the game
Already had the requisite controller
Last night, housewives was boring, but my wife likes me to hang out with her so I turned on my gamepad downstairs with the wii u upstairs and played wind waker that's what they call added value

I never had interest in wind waker because of the graphics. Was I fricking stupid. In fact, if the dungeons were more challenging and interconnected, it would undoubtedly be my favorite
I beat 2 dungeons in mask, and I remember them being hard as frick

Oh. Guess I worded it wrong . I thought u had to beat the base game first but I guess not. Nice.
That is a nice feature, fox

I played it and it is the definitive version, but something is lost. if you have a 3ds, no excuse not to play it.

The combat is my favorite period, I love sailing, right when I started to find it tedious I got the swift sail, this is one remake or update I can get behind. I played through the master sword portion on GameCube a year ago but I bought a house, got sidetracked and never picked it back up

There's an argument for the first 2/3rds of WW being the best in the series, but that Triforce fishing period at the end is horrible. So tedious.

Eh, supposedly it's been slimmed down with the hd release, plus I love me some Zelda fetch quests
I would agree with what you're saying except the dungeons, while creative and fun, don't hold a candle to ocarina or MM...or even twilight princess for that matter
But I do love that the world feels alive with people which is something missing in TP and SS...it looks like the new one will continue the trend but given the few things we know, it at least seems appropriate

that video that bama guy (imrager?) posted in the breathe of the wild thread of the makeshift catapault was awesome but almost overwhelming.
with so many ways to launch yourself or get across seemingly impassable terrain, imagine the amount of secret places there could be
hell, OoT was limited in what they could do and they still managed to pack a frickton of secret places in.
