Yeah.....i was shitfaced and just said YOLO and posted a pic of a line on my ipad in the US soccer game thread.

Wasn't thinking too clearly lol.

But yeah, the Shadow temple always used to creep me the frick out when I was younger. I'd refuse to play it after the sun went down.

I did a line off of an Idiocracy dvd case in a laser tag parking lot.

How does this relate to gaming? I proceeded to the Arcade where some little shite kid was talking about how he could beat anyone at capcom vs marvel or some shite like that. I never played it and I hate fighting games then proceeded to kick his little punk arse before i did at least 1,000 barrel rolls in the laser tag arena.

Good times.

The old days when you kept a CD case under your seat for rails.

I used to not be scared of the wall hangers, until I was scared about the wall hangers.

That's the worst part of the game...starting a dungeon over from the beginning...

What's up with the ritual torture devices and shite in the depths of the shadow temple.

Read some interesting fan theory on the shadow temples original purpose. Some think it served as the hyrule royal family's prison/court/interrogation/execution compound.

With the most vile offenders bring sent to bongo bongos chamber on the ship. A literal descent into Hell across the river styx

All of this so close to kakariko village. And what's under the well. And the house of skulltula. Wtf is going on in this village!

Ganon is defeated.

Onward to Majoras Mask.

Incredible game. My final dungeon rankings based on personal enjoyment:

Shadow
Spirit
Water
Fire
Forest
Deku tree
Dodongos
Jabu jabu

What was up with that Owl who helped me as a kid ?

This Majoras Mask is quite strange.

I thought the time countdown would bother me but the inverted song of time does nullify that

The amount of npc, mask, location, and time of day combinations are staggering

Compared to number of dungeons yes.

I love MM, my favorite Zelda title.

Just weird from the start, clock putting pressure on you and super ominous moon is great. Also love learning the patterns if individuals within those 3 days.

I've used a guide to get the first few masks and get a feel for how this game works.

The bombers notebook is a nice touch.

It's just... so different from oot at first. Interesting concept though. I like it

How was this game received originally? I feel like it might of been hated at first but over time it became a classic?

I've loved Majora since day one.

The whole mask idea and how they each do something was a great idea. They also did a great job making most masks personal to NpC's.

Just wait until the Anju/Kafei quest. Maybe the best ever sidequest of all time.

Yeah..I read some reviews from notable sites and it was actually well received back in 2000. My hunch was wrong.

Seems like this one is more quest focused and not dungeon focused though? Only 4 dungeons?
