Should have about 15-20 major titles by spring next year if it doesn’t have them already. Doesn’t have that many games on it at the moment, but to be honest, all of them are homeruns.

There are also some Wii U classics remastered for Switch as well.

Do the rumors about another DLC hold any truth?

IDK if you would even call it a rumor. Might just be theories at this point.

I would love to have another DLC that picks right up where the main story left off. I want to see what Ganon-less Hyrule looks like

I came on this board with the intention of resurrecting this thread, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone already did. I've been playing BOTW for about a week now whenever I get time. It is so great. I am constantly amazed by the size of the game. Yesterday I was on my way to fight the Lynel in Zora's to get the shock arrows (I quickly learned that I was not ready to face him at all and I snuck around grabbing arrows), and I just kept having to stop myself from wondering off in that mountain range. There are times when I look at my watch and realize I've been playing for an hour and I haven't really done anything. It's difficult explaining to my wife why I enjoyed searching the plateau for spicy peppers for an hour after I realized I used them up the wrong way the first time. Now, I just find myself at work thinking about putting my daughter to bed and waiting for my wife to fall asleep on the couch so I can play another couple of hours.

Nah, they're working on the next one. I think they're wanting that out by 2020.

I really hope they have more tangible of a villain this go around. I didn’t think Ganonblight had much character to it and honestly the boss fight wasn’t anything super complicated or overly difficult.

And I really hope they have some kind of “castle town” for this iteration. Having the castle just be rubble was a pretty big bummer.

And more than just 4 “dungeons.” Less shrines but get to 8-10 much more in Seth dungeons.

That said, I still absolutely love the game and hope they build from the same engine/premise.

Hah. This is exactly the game. I have intentionally put off defeating Divine Beasts at times because I don't want to rush to the end. I enjoy just exploring and wandering around too much. My wife is the same way. It's almost like settling down with a good book to play BotW. It's really relaxing to me to just wander around and not really worry about any sort of linear questing.

They said they were going to release 3 different DLC content packs. They've only released 2 so far.

I only recall them saying 2, but I could be mistaken.

But yea, they definitively said that the Champion's Ballad is the last DLC, and nothing else will be released for BOTW.

I really hope they put out another one in the next couple years. My only real complaint was only having 4 real "dungeons" and that Ganon wasn't overly difficult. But that was really me just wanting more out of the game. Pretty sure I've logged over 250 hours

And yeah that's something that was so great about this game, just being able to roam, climb, swim, wherever you wanted on the map. I spent so much time exploring and it was really just genuine curiosity and enjoyment of doing so.

Yup. The game literally let you do whatever you wanted, how you wanted, yet for the final boss battle they held your hand through it.
