I use cryonis almost the entire fight but that doesn't help a ton. In the first sequence I get him down to right above half health and then use Urbosas fury which gets him down close to 1/3rd going into the 2nd sequence. I use flight to hit him with 3 arrows and stun but if you don't stay after him he keeps regenerating health and then he's back up to half health and I'm out of arrows and it's pointless to keep going so I restart.
I'll have to look into that 3xs attack because at this point idk what else to do.

You can also freeze the cubes right before they hit you with stasis and launch them back at him, save the arrows for the laser

I actually just beat him without getting hit in less than 4 mins with a 3 attack food

I think once you get him halfway done, the three arrow stuns plus attacks should get him to 1/4 health, and three urbosa's furies should be able to finish him off.

Didn't think about that. Does that stun him?

What the hell? I have UF+ and if I use it at the beginning of the fight, I only sometimes get another one later in the fight. How in the world are you getting 3

UF comes with three charges... and then you have to wait for it to refresh. I believe, and I could be mistaken, that you need to use all three before the timer to refresh starts. So if you enter the battle having used two of the charges, you'll only have one left, and then you'll need to wait for it to refresh to start over with all 3.

They knock a good portion of health and then he falls on the ground stunned for a good 10 seconds, hit him with UF and 2 charges twice and he's basically dead

Finally beat water. He was by far the hardest as I beat Wind and Fore both within two tries.
At the new dungeon right now and faced the boss for the first time, damn he's nimble. Backed out to go build my food back up before trying again.

After restocking I was able to make it to the second round of the final boss where he multiplies. I thought I had a good strategy saving my UF for that, but even then I can't get to him fast enough to put alot if damage on. And if course guys health gets back up and then I'm basically starting over.

If you use the camera, it will only target the real one and but the clones.

Yes switch to camera as your ability and then the red reticule will only target the real Monk.

So I decided to do a Castle run to try and stock up on weapons. I ended up getting close to the sanctum and triggered the Ganon fight which I hadn't done on Master Mode yet.
Easily beaten in one go I have to say, this may be the GOAT game for me, but I'm still to this day disappointed in the Ganon fight. I hate that they went with this spirit deal instead of an actual character like Ganondorf or the dude in Majoras Mask. Assuming they make another Switch game I hope that's the direction they take.

Went with the controller because it was on sale. Going to clear some backlog before LSU starts back up and hopefully grab X2 later on.
