0Who wants to get this thing going? the game is pretty damn fun
so is it like a Rust type thing where you can either squad up or raid others?
I've heard it's fun as hell but just haven't seen much gameplay from it yet.
So what do you typically do in this game?

The closest comparison is minecraft. However i was never able to get into minecraft and i am hooked on valheim. The combat is a lot better imo, not to mention the graphics

Are there reasons to have a palisade wall? Like random monster attacks?
I really enjoy these types of survival games and I'm thinking about picking this up, but I do like having reasons to build awesome fortifications aside from just looking cool.

Honestly looks like a mix between Minecraft and Rust
I'd rather stick to rust personally

just beat the final boss. 50+ hours of content and apparently they made it all in 2 years.

I had JUST finished building a makeshift house and one of the bosses apparently "stirred the creatures" in my area. Got to listen to them beating on the walls of my new abode for the next few minutes afterward.

Server size is still too small for raiding others. 10 people max on a server at a time. Game is definitely more made for PvE and not PvP. Game devs are focused on that and have said if PvP is what you want, you may not find that improving anytime soon and they aren't focused on it. They are developing a PvE game that has PvP on it if you want it, you have to enable PvP by default if you even want to PvP.
