So uh, anyone gonna do something about that server?

I got one setup on my rig, but it's honestly not good enough to have more than 2-3 people on the same time. Started to notice some issues when testing it.

That's why I didn't bother to post it here.

I picked this up earlier this week, and I'm hooked. They definitely caught the magic of some old school games where you feel real danger, and the progression system is close to perfect. I'm playing solo, and I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've had more heart-pounding moments playing this than anything I've played in a long time. It's amazing that it's already sold more than 5 million copies, but it's well deserved.

Bonemass location really is horrible. I have another location but it is insanely far away. Damn thing is boxed in by 2 swamp lakes and most of this swap has fairly deep water with little islands of land.

I finally got a portal but it is still a bit far away. I raised the ground all around the summon spot. One potential positive is there is a large unbreakable fallen tree blocking some of the land. I can walk under it but Bonemass will get stuck or.... maybe he can break unbreakable objects. that will be interesting to see.

Even though this massive watery swamp sucks, it has a TON of crypts. They are all over the damn place.

the vendor require a LONG boat ride. First you need to circle your main island which is huge. Then you need to circle the inside ring of islands around your island. And pray you don't need to circle the outside layer of the 2nd ring.

I think most if not everyone has the vendor in the second ring of islands. The real hard part is being lucky and not having the encircle the first and second ring entirely.

You can get a mod to find the vendor but that opens the slippery slope to adding lots of other mods and next thing you know the game is too easy.

And...stay the frack away from plains. If you boat too close...deathsquitos will fly out to say hello.

I guess I got really lucky, because my vendor was in the first Black Forrest I visited, within an easy run of my first base.

I've been having fun hunting sea serpents lately. Getting the harpoon makes them less of a threat but also more a bit harder to get if you want all the loot.

yeah, you got super lucky. most vendors are off the starting island.

There are some insane seeds that have the vendor and all of the bosses on the starting island. That would be too easy while also being super dangerous with plains on your main island.

Yep, learned that the hard way. Wasn't on a boat, was looking for swamp biome on new island and all the sudden came upon plains. Two of those things came out of nowhere and two-shot me in bronze armor.

really ticks me off that the light circlet can't be used with a helm. what? I can craft a fracking long boat but cant figure out how to stick a circlet onto a helm. Oh and I can craft a massive helm but cant' figure how to attach the circlet.

And what about the belt? I have to take the belt off to hold the wishbone? That one makes even less sense.

Hope they fix this. Add another accessory slot and allow us the meld the circlet with any helm. if they don't some industrious modder will figure it out.
