Seems like Blizzard is making their own version of Helldivers 2 possibly

I didn't play Helldivers 2, so can't comment on that, but this is what they're saying it will be:

Helldivers 2 isn’t open world, but it is a swarm shooter with objectives and extraction elements… so will probably be similar if I had to guess.

I don't give a shite about a CGI trailer announcing a game releasing in 2030. Odds are over 50 percent that it never sees the light of day

It's mind bendingly stupid and meaningless, but lemmings eat it the frick up.
The only time it makes any sort of sense whatsoever is if/when you actually have some gameplay (proof of concept or otherwise) to show for it. Just like that Fate of the Old Republic game that got announced, until I see gameplay footage, the game doesn't exist. It's just an idea in someone's head that may or may not see the light of day.

For some reason, I thought they had made a single-player shooter in the past. It looks like the Starcraft: Ghost game was canceled in 2006.

They ended up using the main character from that game in Heroes of the Storm.

Overwatch 2 completely gave up on the PvE experience people were desperate for. Zero faith of the shell of the company still known as but not resembling Blizzard to pull off a success here. And the 2030 release date is comical
Blizzard should just stick to non-gameplay cinematics. That’s the only thing left that they still do well

People seem to like Diablo 4. I got bored with it, but I also don't usually play Diablo gamds so I'm probably mot the target audience.
Also seeing good reviews for the new Warcraft 3 campaign and WOW Forever is just pure fan service from what I can tell.
