It’s a cool cinematic trailer, but it’s just that. Damned thing could be a card game for all we know from that

Looks amazing. Which probably means it will be a free to play online multiplayer game with a release date of Q3 2023

Apparently it's an action adventure RPG, and will not be a narrative interaction game like their previous titles.

Yep. I doubt I'll ever replay it, but I'm glad I bought it and it was worth playing once. Games aren't either all time classics or terrible with nothing in between.

Fallen Order was enjoyable. I think the bones are there for a really great sequel if they continue the franchise.

I agree, but I never could get into the game due to the awkward mechanics. Maybe it is just my shitty skills with games, but I felt the movement was quite touchy and erratic. It was lacking a smooth flow to it, and the slightest touch would have me falling off a cliff.

I only made it in about 5-6 hours before I lost interest. Maybe it just wasn't the game for me.

Remember the cinematic trailers for The Old Republic?
Those trailers are AMAZING looking - the game had NO CHANCE of looking the same.
Doesn't mean TOR was a bad game (I enjoyed playing it for a good while), but those trailers were basically to tell the story of what happened prior to the start of the game, not give any indication of what playing it would be like.

The gameplay was fun and the graphics were solid. The dialogue and plot were meh, in my opinion. The game fell apart for me when I went to revisit an area (Dathomir) to get the one collectible I had missed. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get to it, before I realized I basically had to “replay” the entire level to get back to that point. Once I realized how “on rails” the game actually was, it killed it for me. After I got that one collectible, I turned off the game and have never played it again.

Is Kathleen Kennedy involved in the games side at all? Because this is set in the "High Republic" era and the show they're releasing in that era is shaping up to be awful.
