I personally don't think it is ugly. I don't like the crevices that could collect dust, but I don't mind the design.
The controller is my largest worry. It looks 'heftier' than the PS4 controller, which would be an improvement, but I wonder about how the buttons feel with them being so far recessed.

Should have really good cooling, lot of ventilation which is the most important thing.
