No. I'm watching Big Drewski play NCAA 14 with the mods and it's night and day with new Madden. Once they got lazy and took physics out of tackling, it has been brutal.

I get why they would use the madden engine but I liked the ncaa game play much better than madden back in the day.

I don’t have a gaming PC and I was never a big fan of sports games when I had one.
I prefer sports games and rally almost all games other than like a flight sim game on console.

Before the Rocket series I'd agree with you, but it was pretty obvious he is having fun right now.

As far as I'm aware, they've always been on the same engine. They would just tweak the gameplay on the NCAA side of things to make it feel different from Madden. Hopefully they'll maintain that unique feel between the two.

Really? I have the opposite opinion. He sounds bored playing the Rocket City dynasty. Go back and compare it to his DVSU and UGF series and he does way less editing and his reactions seem way more forced to me. Much more monotone as well. He also uploaded videos pretty consistently with UGF and DVSU. Rocket City you never know when it’s coming

I didn't play last year's Madden, but 2021 had RPOs implemented, so I'm guessing the answer is 'yes'.

Welp at least I’m getting FIFA 23 for my PS4 this Fall. Not buying a new console just for NCAA and won’t generally play a sports game on my PC.
