NCAA 14 with updated rosters will be better. If you thought they were pressing it with the micro transactions before just wait till this minefield of them comes out.

Nah, they will make a good game for the comeback. They have already been working on it and have 2 full years left. The BS comes once it’s been back for 2-3 years

Maybe but it’s EA so I don’t have the highest expectations

Sounds like a great reason not to buy it. They're already overpaid.

For me NCAA 06 was the peak, I just loved the impact player system so much. Nothing better than having a impact safety in the zone you know a Chad Jones vs Arkansas type of hit is coming.

I prob wont be getting it. And no one will ever convince me that a digital figure that all look the same save skin tone is an actual representation of someone and they need money for it.

To me, all the linemen look like my brother. Where's his $$?

Dude, the likeness came in with the jersey#, position, weight, and hometown. Not just the skin complexion.

Only think missing was the actual name of each player.

IIRC, the height, weight and hometown were not always correct, but it was close.

I believe that was one of the things they did to say that their weren’t using a player’s likeness.

Other than screwing up 90% of the players’ heights, weights, hometowns, jersey numbers, and ratings, they were the exact mirror image of the real players.

I’ll never forget one of the last couple of seasons when they gave slow arse Matt Barkley a 82 speed rating but Connor Shaw’s was like a 70. They had one singular “ratings guru” who clearly overrated the same handful of teams every single year based on hype.

Hopefully they do full 85 man rosters when it comes back around. You have no reason to redshirt anyone in the the game unless you are only recruiting 15 or so players in each class.

Or having to cut your roster size to 70 every year that shite sucked, it was like what’s the fricking point in having a full class?!

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I mean he’s right though. They would maybe have 75 or so players fully correct and the rear was a crapshoot.

They’d have 3-5 South Carolina players right each year, another dozen or so close enough, but the rest, I’d be scanning our roster like wtf is this?

If I remember correctly, the height, weight, ratings, and numbers were pretty usually pretty damn close to the real life counterparts even if the visuals weren't spot on. It wasn't hard to discern who players were supposed to be.

They pretty much lost the ability to claim they weren't basing their game after actual college players once someone noticed they created a formation for Florida's playbook called 'Shotgun Twin QB Tebow' while Tebow was still in college.

I think I read that compensation hasn't been finalized, so I'm guessing it's blacked out because it's still in a negotiation phase.

EA will add in the forward pass and announce it as an all new feature in football videogames.
