Well that ending just made me real sad... funny how at the beginning of the game I was bitching about not playing as John... now that I am playing as john I wanna play as Arthur. What a way to go out. Wish it would’ve had a happier ending though. This is now tied with Uncharted 4 for the best game I have ever played.

I don’t know, but if you haven’t yet, I highly suggest going to McFarland Ranch and taking the same route to Armadillo as the first game. Super nostalgic.

Its bad enough that I lost Arthur but I also lost my beautiful gray Arabian. The game exceeded my expectations and I’m into a second playthrough, but this Arthur will be of high honor. I can’t let Micah do Arthur like that again.

Finished up chapter 6 tonight. Holy shite! What an awesome story.

I didn't do a whole lot of optional things like the dino bones, rock paintings, etc. I met the people that gave them to you, but never did any more. Are they still available as John?

Yes. You can do everything else as John.

Yea, the dinosaur bone quest cannot be completed by Arthur because some bones are located in the Blackwater area and that’s off limits (unless you like cops shooting at you) for a good portion of the game.

You think they will release a story DLC for RDR2?

It's been 5 years and no DLC for GTAV. I'd settle for a RDR remaster. They've already built all of New Austin and West Elizabeth that was in the game.

Really hoping they are remastering RDR. That is why Mexico is partially rendered and in the game I would guess as well. Would love to play it now that I know exactly the back story.

Let's not forget the casino that remains unfinished in GTAV.

RDR Remaster will be released if they've already planned it and been working on it. DLC will depend on the success of RDR2 Online. I hope.

Still bugs me that offline players never got anything added on for GTAV. But at least Rockstar does a good job of selling a $60 base game that is worth more than that.

Well I took my time with the main story and completed it. I have to say I never thought I would like to be someone other than John after RDR1. But now I have restarted a save game somewhere in Chapter 4 and probably won't progress any further in the story for a long time, if ever. I found myself missing Arthur as soon as I started playing as John.

Your honor level was low and you went back for the stash. My first playthrough was low honor but I didn’t go back for the stash, instead I helped John escape and Micah ended up shooting Arthur in the head. That pissed me off so bad I rushed through the rest of the storyline just to get even with that a-hole.

Yep.

My honor was high all game until the last chapter. got so tired of being nice.

I was so confused at the ending. I knew there was an epilogue so didn't see how Arthur could be dead.

So the epilogue takes place a while after Arthur gets killed, right? I haven't messed with it. was too sad

Yeah. I was at a meeting with one of the former gang members at a train station and John and her reminisce about Arthur. At that moment I said the hell with it and reloaded a game I had saved in Chapter 4. Not gonna progress the story mode from there. Arthur will live forever.

The second I finished the epilogue missions I loaded up the game at Ch 2 again. Arthur is a vastly superior character to John. Even though I played RDR1 3 times. They did such a better job with Arthur, there is no comparison IMO.

I disagree, we just saw different parts of each character. With Arthur, we just got to see the rise before the fall. With John, all you saw was the aftermath basically. There was really just one mission in RDR1, get Dutch, so we really mainly just saw one aspect of John. RDR2 developed John more than the first game did just in the little he is used. Doesn't mean John was a worse character in RDR1, just that we saw a narrower scope of him out of the need of the story.

Yep, I’m having problems with that now. Getting tired of rude npcs and their comments toward Arthur. Been doing a lot of fishing, throwing little ones back to increase honor and also chores around camp. Trying not to rage out anymore.
