I think I’ll really enjoy this once they get the details figured out but as others have mentioned, the economy in this game is jacked.

4 man temp posse is free and last until you log off. 7 man posse is permanent and cost $200

Anyone know how the missions work in a 7 man posse? Will all 7 be able to participate? Who can trigger missions? Right now I’ve been doing temporary posses and we can replay missions by having different people create the posse, then that person triggers the mission. Each person has their own set of missions. That’s not worth much right now, but if they adjust the in game economy it should be worth more to do the missions

Only posse leader can start the missions. Once the posse leader starts it the rest of the posse will start regardless of proximity

I don’t believe so. Since the original leader pays 200$ I don’t see them allowing you to change leaders.
I wish you could have everyone chip in for the $200. Also I wish you were able to give items to other players in the posse. For instance, you’re in a shootout and run out of ammo - at this point someone in your posse should be able to toss you so extra bullets but they can’t. Who knows maybe it’s coming :shrug:

Right now being in a posse has zero benefits. Every posse I see online tries to murder everybody. The side character missions need a huge money buff on them. It’s ridiculous that hunting one animal has better payout than those missions.

So I’ve been making a decent amount by just slaughtering ranch animals at Valentine. Beats going out hunting and having to ride back to a butcher.
There’s a pig pen right by the I in Valentine that usually spawns 3 pigs. Making about 20 something bucks off of them every time.

I tried this with the sheep and people kept catching me and reporting me. Got annoying real quick.

Lasso and knife them. Little more stealthy. Plus won’t damage the pelt. Cow farm to the west of Rhodes is a good one. Usually has a few bulls too. No people around.
