Same. Even in GTA, you could just grind missions and get money. Took time, but the rewards were worth it. Outside of the limited story missions which i think you only get money from the first time you do the mission, grinding stranger activities or looting gang hideouts net you maybe $5 if you're lucky. Maybe a little more if you're lucky to get some rings and stuff off of bodies you loot. The most lucrative thing you can do right now is hunting, which there is no way that was their intent.

Tried it out for the first time today. As expected it's unstable as hell. Getting disconnected frequently. Hopefully they can get the kinks worked out sooner rather than later.

I’ve been kicked from almost every session I’ve joined today after about 10-15 minutes after joining. I only got kicked yesterday one time and I played for 3-4 hours. This weekend the servers will probably get flooded and it might be more issues. A little trick I learned is spawning in the mountains has put me in smaller lobbies.

Yeah it was hit and miss for me this evening. Went like an hour with no disconnects and then it was just a flood of them one after the other.

Yep everyone is allowed online today and this weekend it will be nearly unplayable. I had a guy lagging in front of me so bad it didn’t show him in the room I was in. When it finally showed him in the room he already killed me. It was a full lobby with over half the players in Rhodes.I just stayed in the Saloon and shot out the windows.

I had no issues earlier when I played. About to hop on for a long session in a few.

It was just out in the flat lands east of valentine. Around emerald ranch but not right by it. Just found it. Rode it to the stable in valentine but somebody jumped me before I could do anything w it. I rode it away to get out of there and then my server crashed before I could go back. Oh well. This. Hunt your tail off around st Denis and you’ll do ok. I made $200 in about two hours but I was also messing around a bit. Also couldn’t find animals on certain servers but others had a ton. Shoot cranes and egrets and get alligator teeth and meat for fast $.
They’ll prob nerf the butcher prices soon.

Love completing a mission with a bunch of rando's and getting shot immediately by them once the mission is over and we respawn. Super awesome!

The best money maker right now is hunting Spoonbills with the Varment Rifle for perfect pelts. It gives you about 20 to 30 dollars if they spawn and only takes about 3 to 5 minutes. When you hit level 10 they start giving you a treasure map for every 5 level ups. Looting dead bodies at gang hideouts can also give treasure maps. Treasure hunts can give you over a 100 dollars and about 0.4 gold bars. Fishing also has decent payout and something different to do than just hunting. This is what I’ve learned on reddit and this is the map of the Spoonbills.

I only briefly looked at the shops and stuff but everything looks insanely overpriced.
The rank levels and the amount of money you need to buy things are very relative to the rewards you get.
Of course it's a beta, maybe they'll adjust some numbers.
