the poison ivy and croc fights are just terrible. with most of the boss fights, there's just nothing to them. i think that's why mr freeze in AC is so highly regarded, it threw some new wrinkles in. the cloudburst fight in AK could very well be the worst boss fight of all time, complete rubbish
the scarecrow stuff from AA is my favorite (not the gameplay, but the execution). the fake console/tv crash got me sooooo good on my first playthrough. love how when the joker shoots you, it gives a game over screen and says "use the middle stick to dodge" and then it just keeps going further into the nightmare

See what the Return to Arkham collection is, which is just Asylum and City. I haven't played much of Knight, but I guess it's just really bad. AA and AC are classics that are definitely worth owning.

Maybe, but has there ever been a batman game that actually had you driving the batmobile? They had to at least try.

I like the Ras al Ghul fight in AC too. Not really a boss fight but the last side mission where you have to take out the mine while fighting off 50 tanks in AK is insanely difficult, especially on NG+.

I get that, fans were clamoring for it since the AA days. But make it a cool mechanic for traversal and light puzzle solving/combat. The entire game doesn't need to revolve around it

They definitely overdid the batmobile but I still like that game overall

loved it for the riddler stuff. hated that at least two of the main side missions (those things in the ground and chasing after those armored enemy vehicles) were nothing but redundant batmobile stuff.

Loved Asylum and City, never played the others as I strongly got the sense they were not nearly as good.
I'd put City over Asylum but it's close. Traveling around in City was just pretty dang fun.

Agreed. Bought remastered Asylum and City and played a little of both and man City is much better. Better combat, much easier to traverse. I guess the only knock I’d have on it would be the Riddler trophy bullshite. Maybe that’s just me wishing he was a bigger part of the game.
I hope if they make another game that they’ll use the Riddler or Two-Face or the Court of Owls or someone other than The Penguin and The Joker
