who's the fricking retard that keeps telling people this? this message is when the stock drops for purchase on the site. not when it goes out of stock.
the queue literally goes live 30ish minutes before the stock is loaded onto the site.
eta: the message you should be dreading is
"PS5s are out of stock for the day."

Somehow I managed to get one on like the first direct drop after initial release. I've gotten in every queue since then and never saw a wait less than an hour.

I added it to my list a week ago, and obviously it said out of stock and wouldn’t let me add to cart. But I started watching it around 11:30 tonight and it finally let me check the item, but would give me an error message when I clicked add to cart. Wife went to the same I was at yesterday Walmart today and asked if they had any in stock
The guy at electronics said they will not be selling them in the store anymore bc of all the chaos around the country
Told her to check around 7pm to order one of the in store stock online
