It is a silly argument to begin with because the 360 crushed the PS3 for majority of their life span until the past year or so when PS passed it. The 360 passed it a few months ago though with a release of their new version of the 360.
These arguments are stupid to make less than a month in.

Did they? Pretty certain it was Nov. 15 -> Nov. 29/30. It was also only available in NA for the great majority of the time. Arguing sales isn't going to be winning one from this angle.
