Well, this is gonna be a long night.

I will help you as much as you need, but only if you follow directions exactly. Otherwise, remote diagnosis will be impossible.

First thing I need are clear, well-lit photos of every connection on the motherboard, including connections on the back of the tower.

Ok, first off, let me apologize, because I fricked up. These cards were sitting in my house for months, yet my stupid brain somehow blocked out the fact that these cards use 2 PCIe 6-pin connectors when I first looked at the rest of your rig. Which makes perfect sense that they do, but nevertheless, I managed to forget that, even when you were asking how to plug the fricking thing in.

Sorry, but you do need two 6-pin plugs for it.

However, there's a fix for that, and it doesn't involve replacing your power supply. Unfortunately, it means ordering something else and more waiting.
You need a molex to 6-pin adapter. They are cheap. Just a few dollars.

In fact, say the word and I'll overnight one to you since I fricked up. Unfortunately, it'll still put you getting it Tuesday since it's the weekend.

Secondly, move your RAM so that the 2nd and 4th slots are occupied -- the blue slots. Otherwise it's not running in dual channel mode.

Yeah I moved the RAM after noticing that myself which took care of that red light, but that sucks so much

What am I plugging into with that adapter? The 6 pin end goes into the remaining plug on the GPU but what about that other end?

Other end goes into these molex connectors:

I feel like maybe I just need to get a new power supply?

This thing only had the 4 slots and one is 8 pin.

In one of the 6 slots I have a optical drive, in the other slot I have my 1TB hard drive, and then the 8 pin to the GPU, so there's just the one 6 pin left on the PSU and I'll need that for this adapter but won't I also need it to hook up my SSD?

Also, I have a molex type connector on the left side of my case, coming from the front of the case, likely the part of the fan/led controls on the front of the case and the case fans because they haven't turned on once the fans or the leds, but I have no idea what it hooks into or how to hook it in and it's molex so do I need yet another molex adapter and PSU slot for it?

Your 6+2 went into the 8-pin slot on the PSU.

What you have remaining are 3 6-pin slots for the following cables:

Cable 1: SATA power (2 connectors on one cable)
Cable 2: SATA power (2 connectors on one cable)
Cable 3: Molex power (2 or 3? connectors on one cable)

Cable 1 goes to hard drive and SSD
Cable 2 goes to optical drive
Cable 3 goes to Molex adapter

How many molex connections on your molex cable? from the pic on Newegg it looks like there's 3. If so, use one of those. The adapter only needs 2.

EDIT: yes, definitely 3

Okay I connect the HDD and SSD together and only use one cable into the PSU? What cable connects them into one?

What about that molex for the fan control I mentioned above that has to go into the PSU too? There's no way I have enough slots on the PSU for that too.

Do you not see the 2 SATA power connectors on one cable?

OK, I'm going to have to draw a picture. BRB

No I plugged it into the HDD and never looked at it again haven't installed the ssd yet it's still in my laptop until this is running then I'll bring it over to my PC once it's running. But yeah I see the second one looking at it.

I have this molex cable too? It has 3 molex ends total and then comes into that 6 pin connector is that what I use for the led/fan molex I was talking about or is that needed for gpu adapter?

Yes, that cable in your hand is what you are going to use to connect the GPU adapter AND your LED/fan molex.

Here's a shitty paint drawing to illustrate.
