We can roll some BF3 for a little while today, but tonight I'm playing "Drink Beer and Cook-Out with Friends". It's a pretty fun game, and I've got a ton of hours in it.

Well my computer is in the process of being built finally. Soon I can stop using this shitty old laptop.

You aren't watching it being built?

Of course. I set up several remote cameras around the premises to monitor the progress. One camera I hid in the RAM LEDs...

Anyone have a spare HDD enclosure or external hdd that they want to sell or trade?

Just got a xbox 360 4gb and tv for really cheap, and I'd rather grab an external HDD or get an enclosure (I already have a spare 160gb hdd) instead of paying $100+ for the xbox 320gb hdd

NVM. I was thinking of HD cages, not enclosures for individual hard drives.

Just found it odd you wouldn't want to learn. That's arguably the funnest part, and watching one build would make you realize it's child's play to assemble one.

I will suck the e-peen of anyone who is able to find a place online where I can buy some of these:

I'm 99% sure it's M2. It's a captive screw, I'm estimating about 4-5mm. I found them without the spring, but the spring is likely important for even retention on the heatsink (these are for a Twin Frozr cooler).

It's going to take a couple days as they're busy. I ended up having to take it to a local computer shop bc my buddy who was going to do it had to go out of town. I did see that they actually teach a class on it though, so I may very well check that out later.

Ah, that sucks. You'd be gaming by now if you lived in BR. It's a 30-minute job.

Wait. You aren't doing the build yourself?

Nope. I also don't work on my car myself. Different strokes for different folks.

Do you have an old laptop HDD or any 2.5 inch HDD? There are guides on Youtube on how to format them for an Xbox.

Do you think he tells the mechanics what parts they're going to use?

I wonder if Tom is an Engineer or something.

I built a house for an engineer once and even though I had up to that point probably built 100 houses, that engineer acted like he knew more than me. He didn't of course or else he would have built his own house.

I love always having to remind them and draftsman that just because shite works on paper doesn't mean it will always work in the field.

He's the guy that tells you how easy the work you're going to do for him is but won't do it himself because it's too difficult.
